From underneath the mistletoe:
Stitch fans, it brings me great pleasure to point out that this will be the last year in which law school exams mess with my normally ebullient holiday spirit. Honestly, though try as they might, they have never fully beat me down. I'm still rockin' the carols like a wassailer should on the ride in to campus and downin' the GBLs* like it's my j.o. But I want my 12 days back. I want maids a'milking and the friggin' pear tree. Bring me flesh, and bring me wine, bring me pine logs hither. Ain't no party like a Christmas party--'cause someone's gonna sleep with their boss and make January an awkward month to be at the office.
Well, I hope everyone else out there is enjoying the season as much as possible. If you need some music, check out the latest from dj BC. He's the dude who put together the best mash-up albums of all-time by blending Beatles beats with the Beastie Boys. Unfortunately, the bastards at Apple made him take the albums off his site (copyright what?), but if any of you out there want 'em I got 'em.
Santastic III has one of the funniest holiday tracks out there called "A Wicked Hardcore Christmas." The number brings out the Boston Southie and drops a good ol' Jaeger bomb on Jesus. Yeah, it's that ridiculous.
On an unrelated (or maybe related mash-up) note, this has got to be the best music video to hit the web in '07:
Alright, that's all for now. Back to the books. Merry Christmas to all--and to all a good night (in the library).
